Emma has worked hard to establish herself as an artist. The artists’ colony where she lives is heaven compared to the rundown trailer parks she grew up in. After a relationship comes to an unexpected end she decides to make some drastic changes in her life, but it isn’t as easy as just flipping a switch. Her best friend, Daisy, thinks she’s being too extreme. Plus, the owner of Emma’s favorite food truck is more tempting than the gourmet sandwiches he serves. That makes everything even more complicated. Is taking a different route in life the best thing to do? What if she ends up miserable instead of on the path to happiness?

I have been saving all of my free days in the Kindle Select program, hoping to put “Must Love Sandwiches” up for free for a few days to promote the release of the next book in The Bartonville Series. But life got in the way and there is no new book. Yet. “Road to the Colony” is getting close, but “Must Love Sandwiches” is at the end of its time as an Amazon exclusive. So, I’m using my free days anyway. Then I am going to start reformatting it and releasing it in other ebook venues, like Barnes and Noble and Smashwords. I’ll let you know as they go up. For now, if you would like a free Kindle copy of “Must Love Sandwiches” on March 15-19,  just click on the cover above or in my sidebar. Enjoy!

  1. I cannot wait to tell Anna when it is available on Nook. Her hubby has one and I’m sure she’d love to read it since she likes foodie fiction

    • I’ll definitely let everybody know when it’s up elsewhere. I need to look around and see how to format it, but it shouldn’t be too difficult! :)

  2. Woo hoo, I love free books :-). But I bought it through Amazon a while back. Tweeting this now!

  3. Hi Janel,

I’m off to download the book to my Kindle and who knows … This might be my next post for ‘Weekend Cooking’, as it is to do with food and has ‘sandwiches’ in the title.

I hope that it will be okay with you if I feature the book on other Fiction Books pages and in the other regular memes in which I participate, offering a review in due course.

I can’t wait to find out just what this gourmet sandwich maker has that makes him so special!!

    • Ooh, I hope you like it! I’m almost ready to release the next book in the series, which will have 3 novelettes. Then I’m going to start a second foodie series. It will be set in a rural resort area with characters that are a bit older than the ones in the Bartonville series. You are more than welcome to do a review on “Must Love Sandwiches” and feature it however you like. Let me know if you would like any more information from me. Thanks!

      • Hi Janel,

The only other thing which would be useful in promoting ‘Must Love Sandwiches’, is a short author bio and a photograph, to let the readers know a little more about you.

If you would rather not go down that route, that’s fine by me, I can just feature the book alone, I’ll let you decide and get back to me.

Be assured that I will not take any information from your website without your express approval.

We have woken to snow, here in the South of the UK this morning, however as it is quite wet on the ground, I am hoping that it isn’t going to settle.

        • I just sent you an email with my bio and picture. I hope you like “Must Love Sandwiches”! Thanks for downloading it.
